Monica leads a weekly support group at our facility for victims of domestic violence. A direct quote from an attendee is that “Monica always has the best stories and they illustrate her points well without making you feel like she’s talking down to you. I feel like I’m talking to a friend.” Monica embodies a welcoming and calming spirit that encourages the women of the group to share their feelings while she provides instructional feedback.

Monica has facilitated trainings
Monica has facilitated trainings for the Georgia Alliance to End Homelessness members on several occasions. Monica’s knowledge of “Ethics” and “Self-Care” give her the ability to connect with our Case Managers and Social Workers on both a personal and professional level. Her enthusiasm is contagious and she remains as one of our most successful and requested faculty trainers at GAEH.
Katheryn A. Preston, MSW Executive Director, Georgia Alliance to End Homelessness

Thank you again
I just wanted to take a second and thank you for the wonderful training you provided. It really opened my eyes to some ways I can improve my communication and connection skills. I greatly appreciate you taking the time to share this knowledge with us. I know that this will greatly improve my ability to work with students, parents, businesses and organizations!
Thank you again, and I look forward to additional opportunities to work with you in the future!
